Creative Director Terms & Conditions

Before we get our creative mitts involved, here's everything you need to know about bookings, payments, cancellations and what happens if life throws a particularly enthusiastic spanner in the works.
By purchasing Big Chicken Creative Director, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. About the Experience

Big Chicken Creative Director is a bespoke, four-week, one-to-one creative collaboration.

The experience includes private creative sessions, agreed between-session support and collaborative creative development, as described on the sales page and confirmed during onboarding.
Because the experience is tailored to each client, we'll agree on our specific areas of focus at the beginning of our work together.

The experience does not guarantee completion of every potential project, implementation of every idea, or any particular business or financial outcome.

2. Booking & Payment

The total programme fee is the amount displayed at checkout. All prices are in USD unless otherwise stated.

You may choose to pay in full or spread the cost over three or six monthly payments.

The total programme fee is the same regardless of which payment option you choose.

If you select a payment plan:

You agree to pay the full programme fee in the instalments specified at checkout.

Payments will be collected automatically according to your selected payment schedule.

Your payment plan is not a monthly subscription. It is a way of spreading the cost of one four-week experience.

Your obligation to complete the agreed payments continues after your four-week experience has ended, subject to any applicable cancellation, refund or consumer rights.

Your booking is confirmed once your initial payment has been successfully processed and your place has been accepted.

3. When Your Experience Begins

Your four-week Creative Director experience begins on the date of your first private session, unless we agree otherwise in writing.

Purchasing the experience does not automatically begin your four-week period.

Session dates will be arranged by mutual agreement.

4. Cancellations Before Your Experience Begins

We understand that circumstances change.

You may cancel your Creative Director booking at any time before your first private session begins and receive a full refund of any payments made.

To cancel, please contact Big Chicken in writing before your scheduled first session.

If you've selected a payment plan, any remaining instalments will be cancelled and payments already collected will be refunded.

5. Cancellations After Your Experience Begins

Once your first private session has begun, your four-week Creative Director experience is considered to have commenced.

Due to the bespoke nature of the experience and the time reserved specifically for you, cancellations and refunds are not available for a change of mind after this point.

If you decide not to continue participating, you remain responsible for the full programme fee, including any outstanding instalments under your selected payment plan.

This does not affect your rights to a refund, cancellation or other remedy under applicable consumer protection laws, including where services are not provided as agreed or fail to meet applicable legal guarantees.

6. Rescheduling & Missed Sessions

Life occasionally has other ideas, and we understand that.

Please provide as much notice as possible if you need to reschedule a private session.

Where sufficient notice is provided, we'll make reasonable efforts to arrange another suitable time within your four-week experience.

Sessions missed without notice may be treated as completed unless exceptional circumstances apply.

Rescheduling is subject to availability and does not automatically extend your four-week experience.

7. Pausing or Extending Your Experience

Big Chicken Creative Director is designed to take place over four consecutive weeks.

Requests to pause or extend the experience will be considered individually and are subject to availability.

Any agreed changes must be confirmed in writing.

8. If Big Chicken Needs to Cancel or Reschedule

If Big Chicken needs to reschedule a session, we'll work with you to arrange a suitable alternative.

If Big Chicken is unable to deliver the agreed experience, you will be offered an appropriate remedy, which may include a refund for services not provided, subject to applicable law.

9. Creative Work & Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of your pre-existing business materials, ideas, content and intellectual property.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, you may use bespoke materials created specifically for your business during our collaboration for your own business purposes.

Big Chicken retains ownership of its pre-existing frameworks, teaching materials, methodologies and other intellectual property.

You may use these materials for your own business purposes but may not reproduce, distribute, teach or resell them as standalone products without written permission.

10. Confidentiality

We understand that creative collaboration often involves sharing ideas, business plans and work that isn't ready for public consumption.

Both parties agree to treat confidential business information shared during the collaboration with reasonable care.

Big Chicken will not publicly share identifiable details of your business, private discussions or work produced during the experience without your permission, except where disclosure is legally required.

11. Your Responsibilities & Results

Creative Director is a collaborative experience.

You'll be encouraged to participate actively, contribute ideas, make decisions and experiment with new approaches.

You remain responsible for your own business decisions, implementation and results.

While Big Chicken provides creative direction, strategic input and practical support, no particular commercial outcome, revenue increase or business result is guaranteed.

12. Your Consumer Rights

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable consumer protection legislation.

Where consumer law provides a right to cancellation, refund or another remedy, those rights take precedence over these terms.

13. Relationship to General Big Chicken Terms

These Terms & Conditions apply specifically to purchases of Big Chicken Creative Director.
They should be read alongside the general Big Chicken Terms & Conditions.

If there is any inconsistency between the two documents regarding the Creative Director experience, these specific terms take precedence to the extent permitted by law.
