You have ideas, expertise, peculiar enthusiasms and a whole creative brain at your disposal, so why should the business you build around them be any less interesting than the work itself?
Big Chicken Creative Director is four weeks of bespoke, one-to-one creative collaboration to help you become the Creative Director of your own business.
Together, we'll get our creative mitts into the parts that could use a little more imagination, from your Big Idea and signature style to the stories you tell, the things you publish and the way you market your work.
From the way you write an email to the way you tell a story, you want your personality and particular way of seeing the world to be unmistakeable, unmissable and identifiable.
You want to be dreaming up concepts! Developing your own creative language! Making things you want to blab all day about!
More room for curiosity, experimentation and getting carried away with ideas that don't appear in the standard business bits.
What shall we get our creative mitts into?
Creative Director is a bespoke experience where you choose what we focus our creative brains on. Whether it's finding your Big idea, developing your signature style, look and voice, or experimenting with storytelling, content and marketing that makes you as ridiculously enthusiastic to share your work as you are to create it, I'm here for the whole shebang.
We'll figure out where our attention will make the biggest difference, then get stuck into the business of making it happen.
We'll develop ideas, play with possibilities, make decisions and create real examples together, whether that's finding your signature voice, rethinking your messaging or inventing a completely different approach to your marketing.
A personalised collection of creative decisions, ideas, examples and experiments we've developed together, plus a clear plan for what to do next.
We'll take a good look at your business, talk through the ideas you've been entertaining, the things you'd love to change and the creative possibilities you haven't quite figured out what to do with. Then we'll choose where to concentrate our efforts for the month.
Count Me In
Once you're booked in, I'll send you a Creative Brief and a menu of possible focus areas. You'll choose up to two priorities, tell me a little about your business and share anything you'd like me to poke my nose into before we meet.
We'll kick things off with a 90-minute Zoom session, followed by three weekly 60-minute sessions. These are working sessions. We'll think together, make decisions, develop ideas and get our hands into whatever we've chosen to focus on.
The collaboration doesn't stop between sessions! You'll have async support via Voxer & our portal to send me ideas, drafts, questions and creative conundrums as they arise, so we can keep things moving without waiting for our next call.
We'll have a shared Notion workspace where all our ideas, decisions, examples, experiments and next steps live. By the end of the month, it will be there as your own Creative Playbook, ready for you to keep using and adding to as you progress.
Four weeks. Two creative brains. A whole lot of creative possibility.
Depending on what we choose to focus on, you could walk away with:
→ A Big Idea that makes everything about your business click into place.
→ A signature look, voice and style with your fingerprints all over it.
→ Fresh ways of talking about your work that make people sit up and pay attention.
→ Original content and marketing ideas you're practically climbing the walls to try.
→ Creative concepts that make your offers and client experiences impossible to forget.
→ A Creative Playbook full of ideas, examples and experiments ready to put into action.
→ The creative chops to make bold decisions, back your own ideas and stop looking over your shoulder at what everyone else is doing.
→ A rather outrageous level of enthusiasm for what you're going to make next.
Less Content Creator. More Creative Director.
Let's Do This
Send Me A Voicenote
You don't need to be! Creative direction is about developing ideas, making interesting connections, recognising what works and deciding how you want your business to show up in the world.
Then we'll have plenty to talk about! You don't need to arrive with a perfectly articulated creative vision. Part of my job is helping you sort through the possibilities, spot the interesting connections and decide which ideas deserve your attention first.
Well, the specifics are up to you. Anything from finding your Big Idea and developing your signature look, voice and creative identity to dreaming up content concepts, experimenting with marketing, refining your messaging or making your offers and client experiences more interesting.
You'll choose up to two areas from the Creative Focus Menu, and we'll decide where our attention will make the biggest difference.
Absolutely. This isn't about how long you've been in business, but it is about where you'd like to take things moving forward.
